Welcome to Storytime at Richmond Public Library

We offer programs with age-appropriate content to help your child develop pre-reading skills. For the most positive experience, please attend the storytime that matches your child's age. Storytimes start promptly at the times indicated. Please be on time.

Book Babies: (0-18 months with an adult) Create a special bond with your baby through interactive stories, rhymes, songs and play.

Mondays: Belmont at 3:30 pm

Tuesdays: Belmont at 10:30 am

Main Children's at 10:30 am

Thursdays: West End at 10:00 am

Westover Hills at 10:00 am

Toddler Time: (18-36 months with an adult) Engage in fun stories, music, rhymes and more to develop early literacy skills with your child.

Tuesdays: Belmont at 11:15 am

Ginter Park at 10:30 am

Main Children's at 11:15 am

Westover Hills at 11:00 am

Wednesdays: North Avenue at 10:00 am

Thursdays: Hull Street at 11:00 am (call to confirm)

West End at 11:00 am

Preschool Storytime: (3-5 years with an adult) Develop listening and language skills while enjoying books, storytelling, puppetry and creative movement.
