Making a donation through your Virignia State Tax Refund
On Line 23 of Virignia Tax Form 760, enter the Richmond Public Library Foundation's contribution code 214501 and the amount you wish to give. It can be part of your refund or all. You can even make a donation if you are not receiving a refund. For assistance with making your voluntary donation, go to www.tax.virginia.gov or ask for assistance by calling the Library Foundation at 646-5511.

Payroll Deductions
Easy and convenient payroll deductions can be made through the United Way. Please ask your employer how to enroll. Gifts through the United Way are made to the Richmond Public Library Foundation, designation code 4530.
Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC)
State employees can designate the Library through the CVC, designation code 3308
Matching Gift Programs
Many employers offer you the chance to double your donation. Please ask your employer if they have a matching gift program. Tax-deductible gifts can be made through the Foundation. Your employer may ask for the Federal Tax ID number, which is 54-1856348.
Planned & Estate Giving
Planned gifts have a tremendous impact on our library. You can make a gift from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), through a Will or Trust, or from Appreciated Stocks, Mutual Funds and Bonds. The library's Foundation can also establish an Endowment Fund to honor or memorialize a loved one. Endowments honor the legacy of a donor while providing funding for generations to come.
