Latino Lives, American Dream: Young Latino Fiction with Meg Medina

The Latino family IS the American family, and the American family lives right here in Richmond!  Join author Meg Medina for an evening of award-winning children's books inspired by her real life immigrant relatives.  Meg's books - which celebrate family, Latino culture, and strong girls - include Mango, Abuela and Me; Yaqui Delgado Wants to Kick Your Ass (2013) and The Girl Who Could Silence the Wind (2012).
The free event is family-friendly and the public is invited!
