Hip-Hop Youth Empowerment Workshop
Kerwyn Phillip of Brothers on the Avenue, LLC will host empowerment workshops for teens that teach the origins of hip hop culture and the influence and impact that young people have had since its beginning in the Bronx, NY in the early 1970’s. There will also be analytical discussions with young people about social issues and events that influence the lyrical content of music today.
